greetings parents Guardians and students I'm here to speak with you again about our reopening ask and the revisions that have been made to the reopening of our schools upcoming year first thing I'm going to tell John is the today's the number of days that our students will be coming back are Suda coming back 5 days a week students will be dismissing early we will have won today's students will be coming Monday through Friday students will be dismissed at 1 teachers planning tiles will be toward the end of the day everyone will need to leave campus early in order for our custodians to come in and clean and disinfect our buildings for the next day so students will be coming to school 5 days a week student will be dismissing at 1 we will still be taking students in here to stocking Elementary beginning at 7:10 every morning 17 every morning is when our day begins and we start taking students in our students will be dismissed temperature chicks will be given to all students before they enter into the building's teachers will be temperature chicks before they enter into the buildings if something happens to wear a child has a fever that child will be quarantined in a nurse's office until someone can come get their child we will also have in each one classrooms covid-19 barrier Shields that will go around each child's desk our students will be spread out 6 feet apart there won't be any more than 15 student classroom so we're able to spread our students out students and staff will be required to wear masks at all times while on campus so we will be implementing. plans to ensure that our students are so social distance while in the classroom anyone that come up on campus as far as our visitors or any parents anyone that into the building at any time we'll have to I'm asked you will have to wear a mask temperature checks will also be given to any parents any visitors that come up on campus water fountains students will not be allowed to use water Fountain so it will be a great idea if you could send some bottled water blue juice boxes or something let like that with your child so that they will have some hydration I won't be allowed to use the water fountain now parents I know you all are going through a very stressful time right now we all are planning for students to come back but I know your decision to send your child at the school has been a difficult one eye one of the things that was discussed yesterday at our school for was if you decide to homeschool your child or if you decide that you want your child to do virtual learning you have to stick with that plan for the first semester you cannot switch and bring your child back to enroll them once you decide that your child was stay-at-home that child would not be able to enroll back in school until January so that's something to think about is well. Osyka Elementary we're going to do everything that we possibly can to try our best to make sure that our students to say we know that this is a stressful time we know what's a trying time as I said once before and never in a million years would we have thought we would be going through a pandemic like we are and I also said once before ferrets keep a flexible mind because we're going back to school this way doesn't mean that we're going to continue school this way we never know what kind of changes may come about so just kind of keep a flexible we never know when things are going to change parents if you have any questions about anything if you have any concerns about please call the school we're back here full time at school I will be more than happy to answer any questions for you anything anything that you wondering about call the school will be more than happy to answer those questions for you in the meantime osyka Elementary family I want you to be safe and I I want you to try to be as calm as possible about what we're going through and I know that's difficult and we're here for you to answer any questions that you may have thank you stay safe and I hope to see you soon
