South Pike School District's Weekly Athletics Schedule: September 9 - 15
🎉🏐🏈 We are back for another exciting week in athletics! Let's give our volleyball and football teams a huge round of applause for their incredible wins this week! Our volleyball team secured a non-conference victory against Natchez, while our varsity football team triumphed over Crystal Springs, moving to an impressive 2-0 on the season. Kudos to Coach Varnado, Coach Peterson, and their amazing staff for their hard work and dedication! 👏
We’re kicking off our junior high and junior varsity football seasons this week! Both teams will be on the road Monday at Lawrence County High School. The junior high will play one combined game starting at 6 PM, followed by the junior varsity game. Let's wish our teams the best of luck and hope for an injury-free game for all our players. Go team! 🏆
Our volleyball teams have a busy week ahead with two exciting matches. The JV/Varsity team will host Jefferson County on Tuesday, September 10, starting at 5 PM. Then, the JH/JV/Varsity teams will travel to Salem on Thursday, September 12, for three thrilling matches starting at 4:30 PM. Let's show our support and cheer them on! 🎉
Lastly, our varsity football team will hit the road to face Raymond High School with kickoff at 7:00 PM. Please remember there is a clear bag policy in place, and all tickets must be purchased with cash at the gate. State passes will only admit ONE person. Let’s pack the stands and support our team! 💪
