We are excited to share that on September 3, the South Pike School District hosted its annual CRASE training session! The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course is an important program designed to keep our school community safe. Based on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy, this training equips our staff with crucial knowledge on how to respond effectively in emergencies.
During the session, participants learned about various response options, medical issues, and the importance of drills to ensure everyone is prepared. We believe that providing this training is a key step in fostering a safe and secure environment for our students and staff.
