On September 23, our South Pike High School football players were honored to pay tribute to our incredible Reading Heroes, Mrs. Geneva Patterson and Mrs. Hilda L. Casin, during the 3rd Annual Hilda L. Casin Reading Day! 🎉
This heartwarming event celebrated literacy and community, where our athletes read to elementary students, fostering a love for books and learning. Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Casin, beloved retired educators in the Pike County community, have dedicated their lives to inspiring young readers. Their passion for instilling a love for literature has opened up new worlds for countless students.
