🎃📚 Exciting Learning in Diane McKenzie's Class! 📚🎃
This week, our students had a fantastic time diving into some hands-on activities! They kicked things off by matching factor pumpkins with their corresponding types—what a fun way to learn about factors!
Next up, they explored absolute and relative locations, figuring out which descriptions fit where. It was great to see them actively engaged in understanding geography!
In math, our little scholars tackled Addition Fluency by identifying prime and composite numbers using clothespins for self-checking. They also practiced subtraction with regrouping, focusing on areas that needed a bit more attention based on their recent assessments.
Finally, they got creative with task cards, subtracting 2, 3, 4, and even 5-digit numbers!
